I’m really excited to start researching this project, and share what I find with you. I have found a few pages that talk about why others have chosen this career path, and it makes me really excited to see the common ideas are shared, as well as the common goal.

So to share with you some of common reasons that I have, and what other individuals shared, and to see if these might peak your interest I will list a few:

1.Employers seeking Anesthesiologists is wide open; there are more jobs than you can imagine.

2.Your typical vacation is 6-12 weeks a year.

3.No pesky pages at home; as there are usually other Anesthesiologists on shift 24 hours.

4.Your residency is tolerable compared to most other medical professions.

5.All of your patients are compliant.

6.You get to become very skilled with basic sciences, clinical science, and you will become very proficient at procedures.

7.Paperwork is minimal.

8.You only have 1 patient at a time; being able to provide 100% of your attention and skills towards to maintain their life.

9.Patient interaction is always a positive tone. You’re the one relieving their anxiety, taking care of their pain, and keeping them alive.
